baahhhhh i can't believe micheal johns is gone! he's definitely a great singer, very charismatic too. it's amazing how kristy lee cook is still around. compared to the other contestants still around, she is definitely the weakest link. how i wish david cook would leave too but i doubt he would anytime soon. he seems to have a pretty big fan base. but he doesn't give me good vibes at all, with him looking so obnoxious all the time. brook didn't have a fantastic week again.. i hope she'll do better next week, i dont want her to go yet!

ok after the mix up between the fans and favourites, things got a bit more exciting as everyone started scrambling around to make alliances. nonetheless, i'm still supporting the favourites and im hoping one of them wins instead of the fans! it's a major bummer that jonathan had to leave the game because of his injury. i think he's a fantastic player, very logical and smart. the fans are just hopeless.. two of them actually begged to leave the game. what kind of fans are they?? and the blossoming relationship between alexis and ozzy?? oh ewww, i'd rather ozzy just stick to amanda! the classic would have to be the hidden immunity idol!! i can't believe jason actually thought that stick that ozzy carved a face on is the idol! such a retard! when eliza played it at tribal council, it was classic ;) can't wait for the next episode!

American Idol Season 7

I didn't catch American Idol season 5, the season where Taylor Hicks won. American Idol season 6 to me was ridiculous and highly boring. I decided to give American Idol season 7 a chance and i must say it's a lot better than season 6! I have a few favourites, and as usual, my favourites are dominated by girls haha. I really think that the girls are better singers than the guys though their performances so far haven't been as good as the guys.

Brook - definitely my favourite right now, especially after her rendition of "You're So Vain". I liked that song ever since I heard it on "How to Lose a guy in 10 Days" and Brook sang it really well that night. I think I also like her cos she reminds me of Kate Hudson and my a project friend of mine from school
Ramiele: really cute and adorable girl but when she opens her mouth to sing, WOOOOW, it's amazing! Can win this but she definitely needs more character
Carly: she was an early favourite of mine ever since I saw her during the audition round. I gotta admit the first thing that got my attention was the fact that she's Irish hohohoho. But she can definitely sing, just not sure how far she can go cos she can get quite boring
Alaina: reminded me sooo much of Carrie Underwood! I love her performance of Love You More Tomorrow but unfortunately, she got voted out yesterday, boooo.
David: welllll, a definite Top 12 contestant, extremely high possibility of being in the Top3 if he keeps up with these amazing performances and if he doesn't irritate or bore the hell out of the audience.

aahhh crap, i can't believe yau man got voted off!!! my hopes were raised a little when ozzy and james insisted that they didn't want to vote yau man off cos he was an asset to the group as compared to eliza. but unfortunately, and most pissifying-ly, queen bee cirie got her wish and poor yau man got voted out, sigh. i knew yau man went into this with a huuuge target behind his back but i didnt expect him to be gone so soon! major boooo to cirie.

Ok in this episode, we got to see more of the fans.. and maybe because of that, I found this episode rather boring haha! I found myself wanting to see more of the favourites. The whole hoo-haa over two separate shelters within the fans' tribe was just ridiculous, almost bored me to death.

And because I'm rooting for Yau Man and am not really a fan of Parvati, Amanda and James, I really hope Cirie will go ahead with the Yau Man-Jonathan-Eliza-Ami alliance. But of course in the sneak preview of next week's episode, we see Cirie trying to suss out which alliance would work better for her. Please please please, go with Yau!

So Mary was voted out after a really weird strategy played by.. I can't remember his name, Joel? They should have just voted out the weakest link, Chet, especially after his horrible attempt during immunity challenge. But who cares, a possible dumb mistake made by the fans, all the better for the favourites ;)

Wahahahahahha guess what's back! It's survivor, season 16! 16!! My goodness, that's a lot of seasons for a reality tv show.. and that's like close to 300 contestants!

Anyway, I believe this is gonna be a great season! Can't wait for the drama to unfold as we watch the fans of survivor pit themselves against the infamous favourite contestants from the past seasons. I was almost jumping in my seat throughout the show haha. The first episode felt like a Survivor All-stars season though cos my focus was on the past contestants and I barely cared about the new contestants haha! Hopefully that'll change soon.

I'm glad Yau Man's back! I was rooting for him throughout Survivor Fiji and was majorly upset when Dreamz betrayed him which led to Yau Man being voted out. Unfortunately, I don't think Yau can win this season cos everyone knows he's a favourite and would definitely wanna vote him out instead of taking him to the final tribal council. In fact, I really wonder if any of the favourites can actually win this game.. I think they'll be taken out one by one by the fans. But who knows, it's Suvivor, any thing can happen!

Yaaayy I'm glad Ozzy's back too. Survivor Cook Islands was definitely one of my favourite seasons (favouritest perhaps?) and I was rooting for him and Yul. It's amazing how fit Ozzy is but I believe he's gonna be out pretty soon cos he's a huge threat when it comes to immunity challenges + his blossoming relationship with Amanda, very dangerous!

Ok I'm glad he got voted out. Enough said!

Nothing much to say about her, just wanted to comment on how she looks haha! She has put on so much weight!! My goodness, I couldn't recognise her until I saw Amanda under her picture.

For those who have been reading, you should know that I've been saving up money for my UK trip in May/June. So Josh recommended me this website, PayPerPost (PPP) where I can earn money while blogging! That's damn cool! It's great because bloggers are able to earn some revenue at the comfort of their own time as they can post whenever they want to. looooong weekend coming up cos it's CNY! i personally don't really like CNY cos of all the travelling around, under the hot terrible sun or treacherous downpour (it differs from year to year, i can't quite decide if i prefer the sun or the rain) and all the small talk you have to make with relatives you only see once a year. the only good thing is of course, the red packets! wahahaha how materialistic of me. but this money is definitely gonna come into good use because i'm going to london/leeds in may-june! how exciting! besides exploring uk, we might take a trip down to either paris or a city in germany.. berlin perhaps? can't wait! but meanwhile, i really have to save loads of money so i can enjoy myself there.

they won! they won! tk and rachel won the amazing race! woohooo! i'm so glad for them! for 3/4 of the show, i was sure that ron and chris were gonna win cos they were 1st all the way. but thank goodness for the road block where chris was stumbled by it and rachel managed to edge themselves to first place by just a few mins! nick and don played well too.. esp don, he's such an adorable old man haha. he was really good with slicing those cods man! he's really a jack-of-all-trades. i think if it wasn't for the silly mistake they made with the first clue and if nick had put in a bit more thought at the roadblock, it would have been a super duper tight race to the end! anywaaay it was a greeeeat season and i really hope cbs won't cancel the show!

this is mandy moore doing a cover version of rihanna's umbrella and i think it's really good! i personally enjoy rihanna's version but i definitely can't listen to it over and over again, it'll drive me crazy! but after listening to mandy moore's version, i think i prefer it a lot better than rihanna's! before this, i've never taken notice of the lyrics but after listening to mandy's slower version, the lyrics are actually quite sweet =)

in any case, this song reminds me of this wetseal tee that i have which is printed with umbrellas. every time i wear it, the song will get stuck in my head for the whole day!

Woohooo, it's down to the top 3 teams for The Amazing Race! for the first time in all 12 seasons that i've watched, i dont mind any of these 3 teams to win the $1 million dollars! but of course, i'm rooting for tk and rachel cos they're so adorable together, esp rachel haha. they seem like really nice people so it'd be great if they win! ron and christina winning it would be great too cos they started off as one of the underdogs thanks to ron's obnoxious behaviour and his age as compared to the other teams. as for nick and don, i don't mind them winning cos im a fan of the grandfather! haha he's so cute and it's amazing how he's still running around despite his age. can't wait for the finale!!

i just ordered this shirt from American Eagle. all the shirts i have are meant for the oversized/baggy look aka the MKA-style so i've been looking for one that fits nicely just in case i need some formal clothes in the future. how forward looking huh.. more like an excuse to buy something ;) anyway, i hope size 0 would be a good fit.. that's one thing about shopping online, you can't try on the clothes so you might end up with something that doesn't fit nicely! but oh well, this is quite cheap, S$20 inc shipping ;)

before i boarded the bus this afternoon, i suddenly had a feeling that i was gonna see a kumon kid on the bus. and guess who i saw!! i saw daiki, the super handsome half jap, half chinese boy who left kumon a few months ago! i sneakily sat behind him and eavesdropped on his conversation with his mum. haha i'm such a kaypoh. he's still as cute as ever! his mum was obviously in a good mood that day cos the last time zhisheng saw them, his mum was scolding poor him in public and was being utterly horrible to him.

i'm really sad now! i found out today that it was cyril, cyrus and celeste's last day at kumon! apparently they're moving over to the rivervale branch cos their primary school is just opposite that branch. i've watched them grow up this past 1.5yrs so i'm gonna miss them terribly when they're gone.

new layout! wow, blogskins.com really has a lot of layouts! it felt like window shopping, just that you're shopping for layouts instead. had quite a number of choices but i've narrowed it down to this.

i just got back from my first day at the kovan branch! the teachers there are realllly friendly and essei, ben's mum is super nice! their system there is rather different from punggol's and i'm not sure which is better. as a result, i've to do quite a bit of adjusting. for example, kovan uses the circling method while punggol uses the ticking method. i'm amazed i didn't make any marking errors so far. the kids there pack their own homework so that means i'll have to plan on the spot and that makes everything so hectic and stressful at times. and i have to handle the pre-school kids too so it gets a bit tiring. but seeing benedict, jonatha and dora again really made my day. well, i believe they were glad to see me haha. benedict starting bombarding me with questions about the punggol centre and couldn't stop talking. jonathan is still as adorable as ever!

wow this is quite exciting for me. i woke up this morning to a sms from an unknown number. it turned out to be benedict, jonathan and dora's mum! ok a brief history here, they are 3 of my favourite kids at kumon but they left the punggol branch in october cos their mum opened one kumon branch in kovan. on their last day, benedict asked for my number so i gave it to him, thinking he was gonna call me or something. to cut a long story short, benedict gave my number to his mum for safekeeping. just this morning, when she was trying to look for teachers for her centre, she remembered that she has my number so she decided to ask me for help! i immediately agreed since it's the hols now and i don't mind working extra hours on top of my hours at punggol. i need to save all the money i can for the UK/Canada trip! secondly, i get to see the 3 kids again! how exciting! =D

oohhh this is probably my favourite dance out of the whole season 2! the chemistry between both of them is amazing! the choreography is also brilliant.. i love how they used the umbrellas as props. i was very disappointed when allison got voted out. i think she's a brilliant dancer, much better than doneylle cos she has a lot of spunk and character and it shows in her dances. ch5 doesnt seem to be showing SYTYCD season3, boo to them!
